I'm glad I kept on reading, because I was on the edge of my seat, wondering how it was going to end. I'm not familiar with many of the Underworld references, and sometimes the story was darker than I usually cope with, but I kept on reading. I even ate my breakfast cereal in front of the monitor, because I couldn't stay away. :-)
Congratulations on writing such a different Snarry story. I'll be remembering this for a long while.

A reminder and a beautiful concept -- life in death.
Thank you.

I loved the closure you allowed Snape and his father, and the way Al was just as brave and self-sacrificing as Harry.
Voldemort returning was properly nightmarish.
Harry and Snape interacting, and Al saying Harry really wasn't good at hiding things - just lovely.
Well done.

You've created this whole new setting for all these characters to function in, even the dead ones! Your Al, Severus, and Harry were perfection and all of your original (or mythical) characters were great. Pish in particular. The last line had me close to tears. It was simply a joy to read.
You should be so pleased with this story, and

I had a DUH!-moment when I realized who Pish was and cried a few times, (especially at the end)
Bravo and thank you for writing this excellent story.

I loved this - read a little bit each day over the weekend, which is actually the way I read novels I'm really enjoying - pacing it out, so it lasts longer. (fanfic is usually more of a gobbling snack of a read, if that makes sense)
I thought you did such a marvelous job of world building, and also of characterization - with the original and mythic characters, and the supporting cast (Marauders!), but most especially with Harry and Severus, who were so deeply recognizable as themselves, and so believably, seamlessly aged as well.
I'll have scenes from this story behind my eyes for days to come, I can tell.
